BELDİBİ CAVE

Beldibi Cave, located at the exit of Çamdağ tunnel at 40 kilometers of Antalya - Kemer road, is also a shelter under one floor. Beldibi Cave, located 25 meters above the sea shore, is the second important Prehistoric Center of the Antalya region. The cave is an archaeological site that is always open to local and foreign tourists.

The cave, in which the best finds belonging to the paleolithic, metholithic and neolithic ages in Beldibi Cave were found, is one of the places worth seeing. Today, the interior of the cave has been damaged to a great extent due to natural destruction, and the fill layers have been dragged by rain water and winds. During the excavations in Beldibi Cave, a total of six layers containing Mesolithic cultures were found, and flint tools belonging to the Upper Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods were found. There are schematized human, mountain goats and deer pictures on the walls of the underground shelter.

How To Get To Beldibi Cave?

It is not possible to reach Beldibi Cave, which is about 20 km from Kemer, and the entrance is free.
